Panel 3: The glitter FX here are supposed to indicate that Emp's supersuit is consuming itself to hold back Ninjette's magic blade from cutting completely through Emp's hand, though this point might not be immediately obvious.

Panel 8: Not sure if Single Action's plasma gun was silhouetted either to A) save me some work time or B) to add a wee skosh of extra graphic impact through high contrast. I suppose, "Why not both?"
