Panel 1: Enjoy, folks who wanna see Emp’s supersuit fully intact! As I’ve often said, I rarely draw the so-called “hypermembrane” in this state for two reasons: 1) The fully intact suit is visually dull to me, in part because Emp was originally designed (as a nameless, pin-uppy superdamsel in distress) with a tattered suit, which breaks up the boring, featureless “sausage casing” nicely. If I’d drawn her as a conventional, undistressed superheroine to start with, the supersuit would’ve featured color patterns or been intentionally broken up for visual interest. 2) Perhaps more relevantly, drawing Emp’s suit in one piece is hard on my often-ailing drawing hand, as notably more graphite grinding is required.

Panel 6: Brace yourself for the ol’ Gilligan Cut (per TV Tropes), as Spooky’s assumption, here, might prove to be a tad off-base.
