Panel 1: Gotta say, Ocelotina’s remarkably good at delivering dialogue while simultaneously pulling adhesive tape off its roll with her teeth. (In all seriousness, I didn’t have space for multiple panels featuring more “correct” storytelling, and felt this tape-pulling image was more interesting than just another panel of Ocelotina addressing the camera.)

Panel 3: The rather skeevy term “adhesive kiss” was, IIRC, taken directly from a (very) detailed written commission request from the long-ago days of “superdamsel-in-distress” sketches that eventually morphed into Empowered. Then again, as mentioned earlier, this episode effectively delivers the entire volume’s “DiD” content for that portion of the readership, so using that phrase did seem apropos.

Not sure about this, but I think the oft-used Caged Demonwolf term “toothsome rump” might also have come from a commission’s description—or perhaps I stumbled across it in a piece of fanfiction? Can’t quite recall for certain, decades later.
