Panel 3: Ah, this image is supposed to suggest the ol’ anime (softcore) trope of glistening droplets of saliva trailing between mouths after a kiss, but didn’t quite work out. Perhaps I should’ve used whiteout to make the spit-string into a chain of “glitter FX,” or—better yet—perhaps I could’ve left out the saliva entirely.

Panel 4: Not sure this is clear, but Ninjette is reaching back to stabilize the sheathed katana on her back before she jumps in the next panel. You can still see her hand back there in panel 6, if you look closely. An oddly specific moment for me to be assaying a stab at—ahem—“realism,” but what the heck.
