Panel 3: Surely readers have not forgotten this sensory-homunculus-based cape from the beginning of this volume, have they? He’s a tough face to forget, I’d say!

Panel 4: Alert readers might have spotted that the last three pages have featured the same panel structure for each half-page scene change: biggish panel followed by close-up, each time the same size. I thought that such a repeating-grid approach might help with such a rapid series of location changes. Your Mileage May Vary as to whether this approach was successful, but I can say that Present-Day Me thinks this worked out rather decently.
