Panel 4: The supranym "Judas Moose" is directly taken from a story-title blurb on the cover of an 50's-era issue of Field & Stream (I think) that I stumbled across while tearing down an old house years ago. I found this story title so evocative and goofy that I immediately stole the name for Empowered use while discarding the actual magazine into the dumpster, as I knew the story proper could not possibly live up to its striking title. Ah, but now I must admit that I do sometimes wonder, "What the hell was up with that moose from the Field & Stream issue? Why, exactly, was he a Judas moose?" And we shall never know the answer, folks.

Panel 4: Sadly, we've not yet met the likewise evocatively named Baron Womb, who did not take his supranym from a Field & Stream cover. Rather, his name comes from one of the 20 or 30 pages(!) worth of potential, usually pun-based Empowered supranyms I've worked up over the years.
