Panel 4: I might’ve backed off the “almost all supervills are guys” bit to some degree, but supervillainy nonetheless remains a largely male-driven field in the Empverse; minioning, however, is faaaar more male-dominated. (The theory being that supervillainy usually requires superpowers, which can often be acquired by relatively egalitarian means, as we've seen with the Superdead; minioning, by contrast, has no such requirements.)

Panel 5: Yeahp, the “KTL” graffiti on the wall refers to King Tyrant Lizard, encountered way back in Empowered vol.2.
