As noted last week, this is the third of three Empowered pages I was able to write and draw in a single workday, a record of productivity that I would never again reach. (I assume.)

Panel 2: Ehh, no point in bringing up the suicide scenario again, after already mentioning it in the previous page’s telepathic blurting. In the interest of avoiding the dreaded Overdialoguing Alert, definitely could’ve left that restatement off.

Note, by the way, that one impulse that might’ve been driving this volume’s Overdialoguing is that, clearly, more dialogue means a page that’s more quickly produced. That’s due mainly to the fact that I hand-letter Empowered’s word (and thought) balloons directly on the original page, meaning that I don’t have to draw background detail in every square inch covered by text.

Howeva, whether Overdialogued or not, gotta say that I still quite like Mindf**k’s monologue on this page, regardless.
