We continue serialization of the collected version of the three-issue 2017 miniseries Empowered and the Soldier of Love, written and laid out by me and featuring full-color artwork by the Chilean webcomic artist Karla Diaz.
Panel 7: Yeahp, even the notably inorganic Capitan Rivet was affected by the detonations of El Soldado's "Claymore Mines of Love," arguably implying that her supernatural love powers are more than purely biological in nature. (Either that, or I just needed El Capitan to be rendered unconscious and outta the way for the rest of this scene...)
Next week on the webcomic serialization, Emp and El Soldado square off in earnest for the first time!
Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test projects The Last Party and The Chaste and the Chained.
