We continue serialization of the collected version of the three-issue 2017 miniseries Empowered and the Soldier of Love, written and laid out by me and featuring full-color artwork by the Chilean webcomic artist Karla Diaz.
I'm not 100% sure about this point, but I suspect the artist I was referring to in the second paragraph was Emily Warren (no relation), who did the full-color artwork for the one-shot Empowered: Ten Questions for the Maidman. (She certainly did do the sensible thing by getting the heck outta comics, IIRC.) I'd entirely forgotten that Soldier of Love was originally a standalone project with no connection to Empowered; in any event, that will be the case with the new Soldier of Love miniseries I'm envisioning, which won't be an Empowered project as such. (More on this matter latter, folks.)
Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test projects The Last Party and The Chaste and the Chained.
