Pew Pew Pew! p.6

We continue serialization of the 2015 one-shot Empowered: Pew Pew Pew!, written and drawn by yours truly.

As I've been blithering about all week, my hand-scrawled lettering throughout this story now strikes me as excessively large in "font size," if you will. Certainly no one else ever complained about this issue, but as usual my most troublesome critic—and, let's face it, my worst enemy—is myself. Yay!

UPDATE: Note that I referred to myself as "my most troublesome critic," rather than "my worst critic." As long as there's a g-d internet, no artist can ever be their own worst critic, as some online jagoff out there with an inexplicable axe to grind will take great umbrage at one's work seemingly at random and despise that artist with alarming intensity. Yay, again!

Next week on the webcomic, Emp herself runs afoul of some troublesome criticism (more or less)...

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test projects The Last Party and The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
