We continue serialization of the collected edition of the six-issue 2018 miniseries Empowered and Sistah Spooky’s High School Hell, written and laid out by me and featuring art and lettering by Guest Artist Carla “Speed” McNeil and coloring by Jenn Manley Lee.

Gotta say, this setting-the-scene establishing shot arguably works as a so-called "splash page" due to the actual splashing and sloshing of magic(k) depicted here, save that the term usually indicates a bold page with but a single panel, as opposed to the three different panels seen here. (Oh, well.)
