We continue serialization of the collected edition of the six-issue 2018 miniseries Empowered and Sistah Spooky’s High School Hell, written and laid out by me and featuring art and lettering by Guest Artist Carla “Speed” McNeil and coloring by Jenn Manley Lee.

Goofily enough, I downloaded an app to facilitate the rhyming throughout this sequence, and as far as I know said app is still lurking on my aging but still functional 1st-gen iPad Pro, just in case I need to bust out s'more dope rhymes. (Yeah, right.)

Panel 4: I gather that poster at the left is prrrrrobabably referring to the 2016 movie Sway, which sounds more dance-focused than singing-related, but what the heck. (Pretty sure that wasn't in the script, so I'm unsure about the reference.)
