We continue serialization of the collected edition of the six-issue 2018 miniseries Empowered and Sistah Spooky’s High School Hell, written and laid out by me and featuring art and lettering by Guest Artist Carla “Speed” McNeil and coloring by Jenn Manley Lee.

Panel 2: Gotta say, this vaguely reminds me of the evil mirror from Mike Flanagan's old (2013) movie Oculus. I was especially amused by the fact that the flick's magic mirror wasn't just malevolent, but also an absolute tool with a penchant for supernatural trolling. SPOILER ALERT FOR THE MOVIE: "Oh, you think that's an apple you're biting into? Hey, that's a lightbulb! Nahh, just kidding, that really was an apple after all."
