The image above is from the trade paperback, which reused Karla's cover art for issue #3 of the miniseries; thus, expect to see this image again when the third chapter of the story commences serialization.

Yeahp, after this book's main story wraps up, you'll get the bonus experience of Empowered: Pew Pew Pew!, the final one-shot which I drew as well as wrote. Yay?

Also, as the "!El Horror!" line above hints, The Soldier of Love will feature a lot of Spanish—in untranslated form, no less, for reasons I shall clarify shortly. (Reasons I no longer agree with presently, but we'll get to that later.)

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test projects The Last Party and The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
