We continue serialization of the collected version of the three-issue 2017 miniseries Empowered and the Soldier of Love, written and laid out by me and featuring full-color artwork by the Chilean webcomic artist Karla Diaz.

This page's artwork may well seem very familiar, considering that we already saw the image above as the cover illo for the aforementioned trade paperback collection of Empowered and the Soldier of Love. Ah, but as you can see from the scan, this was originally the cover illo for issue #3 of the miniseries.

Ah, but after laboring through the construction of the Barrett .50 rifle, Artist Me grew so sick of this piece that I shut down work on the illo and passed the responsibility on to Karla, who did a fine job indeed.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new, such as updates on fantasy test projects The Last Party and The Chaste and the Chained. Golly!
