A pretty unusual and interesting layout and/or graphic design approach on this page, gotta say. If I recall correctly, I originally worked up this layout concept for a future, never-to-be-published story that attempted to convey Ninjette's POV while she was blackout drunk and fading in and out of awareness.

Panel(?) 1: As occurs on relatively rare occasions, I sometimes depict the otherwise thin-lipped Ninjette with Big Pouty Lips in profile, though usually in more of a "WTF?!!" reaction-shot context. Mysterious!

And that's it for Empowered vol. 10's first chapter, folks! Tomorrow, we move on to a story that leads with the resolution to the SuperHomeys promotion dealie, a plot twist that might've been SPOILED just a tad by the volume's cover illo.

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
