Panel 2: Gotta admit, in this panel it's somewhat unclear if Emp's unvoiced, Metal Gear Solid-ish "!" is in reaction to A) Dr. Big McLarge Huge's line about "shaken baby syndrome" or B) that big, mclarge, huge bulge in his scrubs. (Pretty sure I intended the former, for whatever that's worth.)

Or, come to think of it, is that "!" from Emp actually unvoiced as such? If this were an anime, we might well be hearing one of those gasps or "eeps" or other breathy, wordless utterances Japanese voice actresses often use in their performances. I've been listening to a whole lotta "future funk" on music streaming over the last year or two, and those musicians absolutely love to use samples of such bishoujo vocal(-ish) riffs.

Panel 3: Just occurred to me that the presumably superstrong supervillainess "BeShemoth" might instead have her supranym capitalized in the alternate form of "BeSheMoth," implying that she's a hulking, brutish moth-creature of some sort, which would be kinda funny.
