If you look at the web address for this page, attentive readers, you'll notice that it's listed as page "52-2," due to the fact that I accidentally scheduled this page twice in succession, but deleted the wrong version of it afterward. Whoops! I probably could fix this issue but, ehh, screw it; the alt numbering shouldn't affect your reading experience, so I'll leave it be. And look, I got a nice paragraph of commentary out of the mishap!

Panel 1: I'm quite familiar with the term "micro-lesions" because, way back in 1994, I used that bit of vocabulary in reference to the neurologically damaged antagonist Peter Vashnevskaya in the miniseries Bubblegum Crisis: Grand Mal. Much to my annoyance, however, I noticed after publication that a Dark Horse proofreader had inexplicably "corrected" the term to "micro-legions" instead. As much as this "correction" evokes a bit of a nanotechnological feel, that wasn't what I was looking for, folks.
