So, yeahp, looks like the release of Empowered volume 12 has yet again been delayed, this time being kicked back to July 2024. This will prrrrrrobably be the last delay, as the last round of corrections I looked over months ago were really close to completion. Then again, I can't say for certain, given that I learned about this latest delay when a commenter here mentioned it. (Ouch.)

For the record, I drew my final new page of artwork from Empowered vol. 12 in April 2022; alas, I failed to realize at the time that the production and correction process that had been used on the previous 11 volumes of the series was no longer viable, and that I needed to formulate a new and very different approach. I did not do so, however, and so here we are today, folks. My apologies, dear readers.

Next week on the webcomic commentary, I'll serialize the afterword I wrote for vol. 12, which discusses the long-term prospects for Empowered as well as addressing the short-term demise of the graphic-novel format that I had been using for the series so far.
