Maaaaybe two or three seconds at most are elapsing during this sequence, but I'm sure nitpickers might already be raging at Emp to VORPP away immediately, as if she was wracked with indecision as interminably as, say, Vader hemming and hawing before yeeting the Emperor in ROTJ. Not the case, I tell you, but the comics medium is a tricky beast when trying to convey rapidly unfolding events taking place in abbreviated timeframes.

In any event, Emp has made the call in panel 6, as her expression hints.
