Panel 1: Kirby Helmet Chick—not her actual supranym!—is using the excessively censored word “bitch,” here. Note that, down the road, I began using smaller censoring blocks in Empowered so the words in question became a tad clearer, which amusingly undercuts the censoring in the first place.

Panel 3: Okay, technically that might not be the proper definition of yaoi, but then again, the meaning of the term has been stretched waaaaay beyond its early denotation to be a catch-all designation for seemingly any manga-influenced boy-on-boy material. Believe me, I know creators who are positively incensed by the loss of the original, very specific definition; however, Emp is emphatically not one of these technically rigorous yaoi fans. (Side note: Am I possibly getting a tad excessive with my italicization, here? Mayhap yea!)

Panel 7: This is a bit clearer, I think, but the censored word is “shit.” Regardless of language, though, this panel of a dismayed Emp cracks me up to no end.
