Commentaries are gonna have to be fairly brief and truncated for a while, in large part because I have to write other commentaries for the long-awaited Empowered Deluxe vol. 3, which will collect volumes 7 through 9 in a hardcover edition replete with plenty of bonus material—including annotations for selected pages, not unlike these very webcomic commentaries.

Deluxe 3 has been in the works for some time, needless to say. In fact, the collection’s cover has been available for quite a while now as a luxurious 12” X 18” color print from Hiveworks, which you can check out here.

I gather that the 4 prints currently available in the modest little Empowered store haven’t exactly been flying off the shelves, so I’m not really sure there’s much interest out there for this sort of thing. Still, we might try to set up a few more of ’em, to see if any others might appeal. Do any of the Empowered volume covers in particular hold any interest for you folks? Or should we look into making prints of other artwork, even B&W stuff such as the fairly (in)famous “Sexy Librarian” page, or perhaps some of the con sketches I’ve worked up over the years?
