Panel 1: Obvious question is, where was Ninjette hiding that chain? My theory is that she had it secreted in her top, possibly in her loose, baggy “collar” dealie. Obviously, her abbreviated costume provides fewer opportunities for hiding ninja tools than the more typical “Kabuki stage-mover” outfit. Or, to quote Steve Purcell, perhaps we needn’t concern ourselves with this matter: “Hey, where do you keep that gun?” “None of your damn business, Sam.”

Panel 5: Not a big fan of the long tail on Ninjette’s word balloon, here, but the idea was to not obscure the “establishing shot” of the boulder that Emp is lifting. Oh, well.
