Panel 1: Gotta say, showing Spooky using a conventional mouse to operate the ’HomeyMainframe seems a bit unimaginative. Then again, later on in this story, a character implies that the ’Homeys computer(s) are apparently running Microsoft Vista(!), a technological reference which has really not aged very gracefully.

Panel 2: Kinda wish I’d worked up a less boring alternative to the real-world Make-A-Wish® foundation, here. In fact, I absolutely should’ve thought up a superhero-based variation—Cape-A-Wish®, perhaps? Dang, the missed opportunities…

Panel 6: And we’re back to the wacky hospital from the beginning of the volume—albeit the conventional part of it, as seen back at the end of Empowered vol. 2.
