Panel 2: I beg your pardon for a puzzling vocabulary error that the All-Knowing Autarch would never have possibly made—namely, thinking that "erstwhile" meant "in name only," instead of its true meaning of "former." I'm pretty sure that I made the same error at some point in Empowered vol. 2, tragically enough.  Oh, well; at least I know better nowadays.

Tomorrow, time for the book's back cover, which I strongly suspect would've been a massive SPOILER for the events of the volume.
