Panel 1: Want an ultra-obscure bit of trivia from this panel? These saucer-helmeted doofi are presumably the same doofi who captured and humiliated Emp waaaay back in Empowered vol.2. Clearly, Emp subscribes to the maxim of “revenge is a dish best served cold,” a sentiment which the Goddamn Maidman would now doubt agree.

Panel 3: “Footling” is a seriously obscure vocabulary pull on the Caged Demonwolf’s part, meaning “lacking judgment or ability.” So “faith-footling” theoretically means "lacking in faith," but I find the usage a tad dubious. Oh, well.

Panel 4: Excessive Dialogue Alert on these last two panels, but you might note the possibly ominous foreshadowing in the Demonwolf’s final word balloon on this page.
