Panel 1: Behold the rare combo of both Pouty-Lipped Emp and Cartoonishly Underbite-y Emp, which is even more rare nowadays as I’ve largely eschewed both stylistic flourishes in the last few volumes.

Panel 2: Juuuuust kinda wingin’ it, here, with the vague torso anatomy on Thugboy in this panel. Years later, bugged by the shortcuts and wishy-washy, not terribly informed riffs I was using with images like these, I took up life drawing again in the hopes of garnering a bit more confidence with such depictions. Yay!
