Panel 1: In case you’d forgotten from earlier in the volume, Spooky is using magic to make herself appear as smiling, though not exactly in a convincing manner. 

Panels 5-6: Remember, the last time Spooky used a divination spell was during the beginning of Empowered vol.5—and things undeniably did not work out terribly well by the end of the book. (“Three seconds too late” and all that.)
