Panel 3: Not sure why I used the British English SMOULDERING instead of the conventional American English SMOLDERING, save perhaps that the former seems ineffably more suited to the bombastic Demonwolf. Or is this perhaps an implication that—Lordy loo!—the Blazing-Eyed Devilgoat speaks with an English accent??????????

More likely is that the SMOULDER spelling was accidental, a holdover from the fact that I read a ton of books by UK authors as a wee lad, and to this day have to struggle against slipping into Anglicized spellings of certain words.

Panel 5: You know that the atmosphere in the apartment must have grown sober indeed if the Demonwolf didn’t make that request.
