Don't sweat the sudden jump in page numbering from yesterday's "Pages 2-3" to "Page 11" today, as I'm using the digital edition's pagination for my own reference. I just skipped a whole lotta recap pages, which I arguably should go post in the "ABOUT" section.

That arrowhead is based on a ceremonial Japanese dealie of some sort, and really isn’t something you’d see—just for example—being shot from the bow of a ninja warrior; I just thought it looked neat, okay?

Keep this story’s title in mind, webcomic readers, as Empowered vol. 7 kicks off with five pages of what might be extremely puzzling and fragmentary imagery, (semi-)clarified only on the last page of this opening sequence. Brace yourselves, folks!
