Volume 7 Page 209

Panel 1: The "ninja magic" symbols in this page are, believe it or not, taken from a supposedly "real" book on ninjutsu, however dubious its content might be. Note that some of the characters seem like highly stylized renditions of almost recognizable kanji, while the more squiggly-looking symbols are (I'm told) supposedly derived from a whimsical take on Sanskrit. (Oh, that wacky ninja magic.)

Panel 2: Note that Teenaged Oyuki-chan was, at this time, not yet "F**king Oyuki-chan," as she speaks with her older iteration's elaborate politeness but (mostly) without the constant profanity.

Panel 5: Kozue Kaburagi, Ninja Mom!

Today’s Patreon update: Open slot in the weekly schedule today! Pretty sure I’ll be posting something for the semi-recurrent Design Tuesdays feature.
