Panel 2: Note that the riff of Spooky weaving subspells into a single, much more powerful "fusion overspell" was first mentioned way back in the tragic final act of Empowered vol. 5 as she failed to save Mindf**k.

Panel 3: The text helpfully noting that the panel is "NOT A LITERAL DEPICTION OF EVENTS" amuses me perhaps more than it should.
