Panels 1-2: Yeahp, the "blushing" version of Emp's mask remains pretty constant throughout this volume, IIRC.

Panel 3: Yeahp, the ol' "profile cheat" strikes again, as Emp is pretty clearly not directly facing the mecha in the background. In the present day, as my art's arguably grown a tad—a tad, mind you—less cartoony, I'm much less fond of using the profile cheat, which IMHO works better with a highly stylized art approach.
