And lo, webcomic readers, thus were all three of my favorite "punched in the face" sound FX utilized on a single comic page. Obvsly, there wouldn't be very much difference in the actual sound of Emp getting hit, but I do like to vary my sound FX choices whenever possible—within, of course, the annoyingly limited range of FX that I actually find acceptable.

Come to think of it, though, repeating the same sound FX three times in a row might've added a certain je ne sais quoi note of brutality to this punchout sequence. (Hrmmm.)

Next week on the webcomic serialization, our heroine's unfortunate predicament will be helpfully clarified for the reader. Yay?

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature?
