Not shown in this sequence, but canonical to my idea of the Executive Council's Star Chamber, is the fact that there's a restroom of some sort accessible at the back of the Chamber. (Gotta say, would've been funny if Emp had decided to hide out in the bathroom earlier.)

Panel 4: That really would be Spartan-tough for a modern twentysomething, wouldn't it? (Or a thirtysomething, or a fortysomething, or even for a fair number of fiftysomethings I know.)
