Continuing this week's commentary thread, this current Ghost Writer episode was only the latest in a series-long chain of attempts to (re)accustom myself to drawing Empowered pages by tackling an easy-peasy story with "damsel in distress" content. The process was, I gather, arguably successful in the end, as after this rather drawn-out anecdote was finally wrapped up, I plowed straight into the two-part but nonetheless thoroughly epic grind of writing and drawing Empowered vol. 8's Hellbound narrative.

Alas, turned out that vol. 8's wholly Hell-focused storyline had no room for a tangential yet sprawling story like "Power Stripped," so I left it outta the book and punted it ahead to later on in the series. Problem is, this story was already losing relevance in a hurry as Emp's overall character arc had begun shifting in a somewhat different direction.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new.
