For those who have read the whole print (or digital) series, you can breathe a sigh of relief, as this isn't the volume with the story featuring "Le Chavalier Blanc"; despite the presence of his helmet in this title spread, that polarizing character has only a cameo appearance this time around. I draw these spreads long before most of the volume is done, so I often have to guess what excerptable elements will play a major role in stories I've often not yet started.

This volume saw print in August 2015, probably meaning that I started it in late 2013 and worked on it through 2014 and a fair chunk of 2015. What surprises me is that I was still listing my tumblr account in these credits as of 2015, which I think had already fallen dormant by then. I must've just started up the ol' Insta account, which I do intend to restart posting on once the terror of the current Empowered vol. 12 production crisis is over.

Today’s Patreon update: In an attempt to scratch out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
