We continue serialization of Empowered vol. 12, which proved to be the final volume of the series in this specific graphic-novel format, though I was unaware of that unfortunate reality when I started work on the book.

Panel 3: Gotta say that I really like how the Uncaged Demonwolf's wings worked out in this scene; not sure if that's supposed to an oblique reference to the somewhat similar wings fleetingly depicted (sprouting from an Eva unit) during the opener of Neon Genesis Evangelion, though.
