Panel 1: The intended Shocking Reveal, here, wasn't that Spooky's ex Mindf**k was a woman, but that she was a blonde woman.  As you might guess, given Spooky's demonstrated antipathy towards the flaxen-haired, their relationship was a notably complicated and difficult one, which we'll explore in considerably more detail in Empowered vol. 5.  And in case you're wondering what the heck is the deal with her visor thingie, rest assured that you'll find out more about that down the road. (Minor SPOILER: Brace for some cringeworthy ickiness.)

Panel 3: Yeahp, though we never learn exactly who did win this particular Caped Justice Award, it clearly wasn't Emp.  Yay, Emp?
