Panel 1: Mundane dark cloth like the sleeves of Ninjette’s shirt can be surprisingly difficult to convey in pencil, alas. The rendering scheme I used here seems more like an attempt at depicting leather than plain dark cloth, sad to say.

Panel 2: That is a lot of DVDs on those shelves, gotta say. I think some closer-up shots show that the shelves also feature a fair number of books as well, but these look more like a metric s-load of DVDs—even though Emp is only once ever seen watching one in all of Empowered, if I recall correctly. To be honest, I probably could’ve considered more varied interior design options for her apartment, but I never did much research into the topic, given that I actively dislike drawing the g-d place.

Panel 4: Overdialoguing alert! I would’ve been better off ditching the Caged Demonwolf’s first line of dialogue, as his existing second and third lines were (arguably) more important.
