Panel 1: Note that this isn’t the first bit of phonetic Ah-nuld quoting I’ve done from his 1985 action epic Commando. In one of my last issues writing Wildstorm/ DC’s Gen13 lo these many years ago, I had a fairly lengthy scene in which Grunge and friend rattle off the entire soliloquy leading up to the semi-famous line, “Come on, Bennett; let’s party.” (Quoted while tandeming on Dance Dance Revolution, no less.)

Panel 4: Overdialoguing alert! Not only does the Caged Demonwolf’s “aside comment” add up to too much text in one panel, but his goofy musings draw focus from Ninjette’s emotionally fraught confession of vulnerability. Bad call on Decade-Ago Me’s part.
