Panel 1: Whoops, I’d forgotten that Thugboy was wearing a tie with his leather jacket. The “HMFF” from Protean/Glorpp is a bit odd, TBH; might be I was driving at his reaction to the “filth that HeroNet is peddling,” but I’m not sure about that.

Panel 2: A none-too-subtle bit of set-up for an upcoming story that will deliver almost all of Empowered vol. 6’s “damsel in distress” content in a single dose—but in a rather unusual form. (Sorta.)

Panel 5: Tomorrow, we’ll find out exactly what kind of filth HeroNet is peddling. Yay!
