We continue serialization of Empowered vol. 12, which proved to be the final volume of the series in this specific graphic-novel format, though I was unaware of that unfortunate reality when I started work on the book.

Panel 3: Yeahp, trying to deploy semi-realistic shading on a highly stylized facial structure like Spooky's was a fool's errand, alas. (Oh, well.)

Next week on the webcomic serialization, Sistah Spooky explains the arguable catch to Emp being freed from her endless bondage nightmare! 

UPDATE: SUDDEN FUTURE EMPOWERED MERCHANDISE QUERY!

A word of explanation: Roughly 10 years too late, I am now quite belatedly exploring the possibility of future Empowered-related merchandise that I might sell at conventions and/or a new website. (In fairness, Dark Horse Comics never had any interest in producing Empowered "merch," but I clearly should've investigated such concepts on my own.)

One of the easiest merch concepts to exploit would, of course, be new art prints from the series. 

Earlier in the year, when soliciting interest in Empowered merch via my Patreon with a poll featuring various options, I was somewhat surprised that the highest-voted category of prints (out of six total) was this fairly random concept:

"Particularly striking comic pages and\or double-page spreads; this is a bit of a niche item, but I saw a few of these on Skottie Young's website and found the idea interesting."

The problem is, I have no clear idea of what pages might have struck Empowered readers as "particularly striking" and conceivably worthy of purchase as a print. Would that mean some of the "ultra-cheesecake-y" pages, like the "Sexy Librarian Emp" or "Schrodinger's Catgirl" of yore? Or possibly certain title or chapter-break pages? Or sweet action-scene pages?

Alas, I really don't know what Empowered pages might have inspired this particular category of print to come out on top, so feel free to let me know what pages (out of several thousand, admittedly) might appeal to you fine folks as prints. (Note that I already posed this question to all my Patreon supporters, but thought I might as well query webcomic readers as well.)

You can describe 'em in whatever manner works for you, or list a page number from the volumes, or even use a page address acquired from within the webcomic archive. (I should probably be able to guess the pages from a vague description, in fact.)

Anyhoo, if I can line up enough page options, I'll probably do an open-to-the-public Patron poll later on narrowing down those choices to a printable half-dozen or so. (You'll also be seeing more queries about a wider range of Empowered merch in the near future, I suspect.)
