We continue serialization of the collected edition of the six-issue 2018 miniseries Empowered and Sistah Spooky’s High School Hell, written and laid out by me and featuring art and lettering by Guest Artist Carla “Speed” McNeil and coloring by Jenn Manley Lee.

Continuing my exploration of 2017-18 Me's choice to roll with a brawny and ultimately disastrous total of six issues for this miniseries, I'd say that my primary (if misguided) motivation was to blow through as many of the story notes and scenarios I had worked up as possible. In retrospect, 1993's Dirty Pair: Sim Hell has always bugged me because the mini's truncated format and pagecount meant that I was able to run Kei & Yuri through only a wee and measly number of simulations out of the dozens and dozens of wacky scenarios I had developed for the project.

Wellp, in this miniseries, thanks to the six-issue format I was able to features many of my manifold ideas for Emp & Spooky's hellish ordeal—but at what cost????
