We continue serialization of the collected version of the three-issue 2017 miniseries Empowered and the Soldier of Love, written and laid out by me and featuring full-color artwork by the Chilean webcomic artist Karla Diaz.

Panel 2: The Spanish here is supposed to translate as the "rose-colored glasses of love," but I'm not sure if most English-only readers would puzzle out the phrase's meaning; maaaaybe I should've asked Karla to draw actual rose-colored glasses on the grotesque victims of love in the hopes of clarifying matters a tad. (Or not.)
