Panels 3-6 do pose a bit of a problem as, in theory, Ninjette could easily have carried Emp off to wherever she needed to be brought. (A page you’ll see within a few weeks establishes quite clearly that this would be no great feat, as it shows Ninjette casually hauling a sleeping Emp across town and back to the latter’s apartment.) My wan No-Prize explanation for this? Perhaps Ninjette didn’t know where to bring her captive, and thus had to wait for a return call from her employers to arrange for the pickup. A bigger question would be, exactly who hired her to capture Emp, and why? This question, alas, remains unanswered.
