I just jumped back to webcomic commentaries after two hours of detail-intensive inking on a DC story, folks, and I can barely see my ginormous monitor's screen. Yay! If I'm not careful to take a break after 15-20 minutes of squinting detail work—which, alas, I did not do this time around—my vision winds up completely outta focus for some time thereafter.

As mentioned yesterday, unsure of 2016 Me's reasoning in depicting Emp prone on that biomechanical tongue with her toes pointed like that. Might've been to make her look more like a fetching (if non-virginal) sacrifice, maybe? Dunno, must admit. Any subjective aesthetic value to the pose is negated by its somewhat oftputting awkwardness in retrospect, or so I'm thinking nowadays. (Doesn't bug me when I still depict Emp with her toes pointed in a "hogtied" damsel-in-distress pose, though, as that's a whole 'nother kettle o' fish.)
