Panel 2: This line from Le Chevalier Blanc is the first overt hint that this episode is a loose reference to the fairly notorious scene from Marvel's Spider-Woman in the late 70s in which the non-superpowered villain Hangman rather inexplicably trusses up and carries off Jessica Drew whilst blithering at length re: his rationalizations for this behavior.

Panel 3: Once again, foreshortening issues arose in this image as I tried, somewhat unsuccessfully, to use an object in perspective to bridge foreground and background elements that weren't quite drawn in the correct scale in relation to each other. Whoops! My hope would be that the fetching image of Emp's "toothsome rump" (per the Caged Demonwolf) in this shot might distract the reader from spotting the perspective wonkiness.
