Okay, no long-ass excerpt from defunct prose experiment I Am Empowered was possible this week, but I think I might've found a way around the randomly appearing "no paste-ins" glitch in the webcomic software, so I'll try again next week.

Panel 3: Not sure if "Hein?" (for "Huh?" en Anglais) was A) something I dug up while consulting a translation app or B) something I remembered from high-school French class or C) something suggested to me by one of my French-speaking friends.

Next week on the webcomic, stand by for a sustained dose of A) more mangled "Franglais" conveying B) a boatload of increasingly dubious rationalizations while C) the degree of "damsel in distress" imagery hits levels rarely before seen, even in this series. Then again, as I've previously noted, this single story had to deliver two full volumes of "DiD" imagery due to a lack of same in the upcoming Empowered vol.11 (speaking of dubious rationalizations).

Today’s Patreon update: Originally done as a means of scratching out more worktime to complete the long-gestating Empowered vol. 12, I've switched over to a Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday Patreon posting schedule that won't feature the fixed content format I previously used. So, who knows what today's post might feature? Could be Life Drawing or Distressed Damsels content (both of which are featured at least three times per month), or something in the Work Stages, Vintage Con Sketches or Design departments, or possibly something entirely new. Golly!
